Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 October 2026
This policy explains what information sbtwork ("we", "us") collects when you use sbtwork.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language.
1. Summary
- Most tools run in your browser. Files you open in these tools stay on your device.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can use the tools without an account.
- If you create an account, we store the details needed to run it, such as your email and your saved history and favorites.
2. Files and inputs you use in the tools
sbtwork tools work in your browser using your device's processing power (for example PDF, image, audio and video tools, and calculators). The files you select and the text you type for these tools are not uploaded to our application servers for processing.
We cannot see your files for tools that run in your browser. If you close the page, the work you did in it is gone unless you saved the result yourself.
3. Information we collect
Account information
If you register, we collect your email address and a password (stored by our auth provider in hashed form, never in plain text), or the basic profile details your sign-in provider (such as Google) shares with us.
History and favorites
If you are logged in and choose to save an operation, we store the tool name and the settings or summary you saved so you can find them later. Passwords and other sensitive typed input are omitted from saved history. Favorites store the tool name and identifier only — not your files.
Messages you send us
If you contact us through the contact form or site feedback, we keep your name, email and message (and subject, when provided) so we can reply and keep a record of your request.
Usage and device information
Our hosting provider and first-party analytics may log technical information such as IP address or edge country, browser type, device type, pages visited, tool use counts and the date and time of visits. We use this to keep the site secure and working, and to understand which tools are used.
Cookies and local storage
See section 5.
4. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide the tools and run your account
- save your history and favorites
- reply to your messages
- keep the site secure and prevent abuse
- understand which tools are used so we can improve them
- meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar technologies that are:
- Essential: to keep you logged in (auth session cookies) and keep the site secure.
- Preferences: to remember settings such as your last-used options in a tool, where a tool stores them in your browser.
- Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics and our own first-party visit and tool-use aggregates (stored in our database) to measure traffic and understand how the site is used. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies on the site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as staying logged in, may not work without them.
6. Sharing of information
We share information only in these cases:
- Service providers who help us run the site (hosting, authentication, analytics), under obligations to protect it.
- Legal reasons, if we are required to by law or to protect our rights, safety or the safety of others.
- Business changes, such as a merger or sale, in which case we will tell you about any change in how your data is handled.
7. Third-party links and services
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
8. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal reasons. Server and analytics logs are typically kept for up to 90 days in aggregate form. Contact and feedback messages are kept for 12 months.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords via our auth provider. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, including account deletion, email superbrainteamwork@gmail.com from the address linked to your account. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies.
You can also delete your saved history and favorites yourself from the History and Favorites pages when you are signed in.
11. Children's privacy
sbtwork is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International use
Our servers and service providers may be in countries other than yours. By using the site, you understand that your information may be processed there under this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on the site.
